AUTOMATED WAREHOUSES AND NUMERICAL CONTROL RIP SAW MACHINE FOR THE OPTIMIZATION OF THE PRODUCTION PROCESS.
The project consisted in the introduction of two new robotized warehouses and a two-headed numerical control rip saw machine for aluminum cutting.

Two automated warehouses have been implemented in order to increase the storage capacity and to reduce the supply time for the loading of the production lines, while increasing the safety in the handling of semi-finished and finished products. The integration with the company ERP in an Industry 4.0 perspective also allows to have constantly under control the stock and therefore to optimize purchase orders and production.

We have also intervened to make safer, functional, precise and efficient the cutting of aluminum with the introduction of a new CNC two-head cutting machine, professionally encased to significantly reduce noise. At the same time this machine has increased the operator's safety. From the point of view of times and methods, the machine programs, which are also interconnected with the company's ERP, make it possible to monitor operations and plan workloads in the best possible way, sending orders directly to the operator.

The interconnection of the robotic warehouses and the numerical control cut-off rip saw machine with the company’s ERP allows to implement the dynamics of logistics and production planning directly from the order section for most of the products.
